Recreate Windows installer ISO from USB created by Rufus

Use ImgBurn.

  1. Select Create image file from files/folders.

  2. Add the USB drive.

  3. Open the Advanced → Bootable Disc tab and tick Make Image Bootable.

  4. Specify the correct boot image file:
    • BIOS: boot\etfsboot.com
    • UEFI: efi\microsoft\boot\efisys.bin

  5. Click Build to create the ISO.
